if i were hosting thanksgiving...

if i were hosting thanksgiving....

i would definitely use pine cones for place cards:

i would definitely have thanksgiving trivia:

the guests would share what they are thankful for on a chalkboard,,,

or maybe on a tree:

there would be a kids table with kraft paper and crayons,

and a grown up table with candles and burlap and pumpkins and leaves.

are you hosting thanksgiving this year?
what are your favorite thanksgiving pins you've found so far?
don't forget to link up with me tomorrow for thankful thursday!

  1. I made a thankful tree for my family out of felt. Every day through November we all write on a leaf what we are thankful for and add it to the tree.

I've made one with sticks before as well... it's much more grown up and prettier that way. But the felt is easier with the kids. :)

  9. I loooove the chalkboard idea!! These are some great pins, little lady! Our Thanksgiving is totally unplanned this year...we will be here in Houston no matter what, either waiting on Baby or having just met him :). I hope you guys have a wonderful Turkey Day! I'm sure someday soon you'll get to have your own big Thanksgiving feast and it will be fabulous :).

  10. I love the chalkboard idea. There is actually a huge one from a school house behind the dining table of where I will be having Thanksgiving, so we might just have to implement this idea!
